Dr. Nyok “Alan” Lee, O.D. is a licensed optometric glaucoma specialist and is therapeutically certified. After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, he earned his Doctorate of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry.
During his clinical education, he completed externships at Veterans Affairs and Codman Square Community Health Center in Massachusetts where he gained valuable experience in diagnosing and management of various ocular diseases including cataract, diabetic retinopathy, and glaucoma. He completed his primary care rotation with Eye Trends in the Woodlands, Texas and a cornea and specialty contact lens rotation with Global Vision Rehabilitation Center in Miami. Dr. Lee’s clinical interest is in the application of specialty contact lenses in the treatment of various corneal and ocular surface conditions including keratoconus, post-surgical corneas, and dry eyes. He believes that having healthy vision from an early age is crucial for success and enjoys working with the pediatric population. Dr. Lee applies a relaxed demeanor in patient encounters to foster a friendly doctor-patient interaction. He is currently seeing patients at the Gramercy and Katy locations.
In his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys longboarding, traveling, and spending time with his dogs. He considers Houston his home and enjoys exploring new aspects that the city continues to offer.
