Dr. Rhonda Manuel-Saldivar is a native Houstonian and grew up in the North Houston/Spring area. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston prior to earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1984.
Dr. Manuel completed dual certification as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Additionally, she served as adjunct clinical faculty for the College of Optometry from 2000 to 2013 and has also served as a clinical examiner for The National Board of Examiners in Optometry. She has spent over 30 years practicing in the Houston area and is exceptionally experienced and knowledgeable in the field of optometry.
Dr. Manuel enjoys traveling and is an accomplished pianist and accordionist. She has served as a pianist for various churches and also accompanied the Houston Police Department’s Gospel Quartet. Dr. Manuel is married to her husband, Alfonso, and has two grown children and two grandchildren.
