Houston Eye Associates is proud to serve our patients eyewear needs. Our goal is to give patients the best eyecare. We guarantee that the frames and lenses we sell are the best quality and free from known defects. Frames are warranted against manufacturer’s defects during the first 12 months from the date of purchase. In the event of a manufacturer’s defect, framed will be replaced at no charge. In the event of breakage resulting from normal wear, repairs will be made if possible after the first 12 months.

Lenses will be replaced within 90 days of the originial dispense date at no charge if there is difficulty adapting to the new prescription. A 50% discount for each additional remake will be offered for up to one year post the original dispense date.

Doctor Changes will be replaced for up to 90 days from the date of the original receipt of eyewear at no cost to the patient and with a 50% original lens discount, from 90 days to one year on a second remake.

Eyewear refunds are available at 100% for up to 30 days from the original date of the receipt if the frames are not damaged and with no visible sign of defects.

A restocking fee of 15% of the total cost of the eyewear will be charged for any returns from 30-90 days. At the patients request HEA will refit and style a new frame of equal of lesser value at the return of the original eyewear.

Free Adjustments are available in our offices for the life of the frame. As a service to our patients, we will adjust eyewear purchased elsewhere, as long as the eyewear is in reasonable and adjustable condition. *Adjustments performed on glasses not purchased at HEA will be performed at patients own risk with no warranty for breakage.

Senior Citizen Discounts are available for all patients 65 years of age or older. As a senior citizen, you are eligible for a 10% discount on any purchase of a complete pair of eyeglasses.

*Any prescription, frames or lenses that are made or fit incorrectly by HEA will be corrected at no cost to the patient.

Contact Lens

Houston Eye Associates is proud to serve our patients contact lens needs. Our goal is to give patients the best eyecare. We guarantee that the contact lenses we sell are top quality and free from known defects.

Patients must have a doctors prescription before a contact lens prescription can be filled.

Unopened Contact Lenses that have been purchased from Houston Eye Associates may be returned within 90 days of the original purchase date for a full refund. A restocking fee of $25.00 will be charged. Proof of purchase is required.

Damaged Contact Lens Boxes cannot be considered for refunds or exchanges. Damage is considered to be any marks, dents, tears, rips or punctures.

Doctor Changes will be replaced within 90 days of the purchase date for full credit.

Contact Lens Fitting is required for patients new to contact lenses, contact lens wearers without their current prescription, contact lens wearers who wish to change their lens type and upon doctor recommendation. Fitting fees will cover your care for 60 days from the original fitting date. The fitting fee is a service rendered and is non refundable.
